Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Operated by Life Church Doncaster  ·  Governed by the laws of England and Wales

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of Pray Every Street, a prayer mapping platform operated by Life Church Doncaster ('we', 'us', or 'our'), a church registered in the United Kingdom at Edenthorpe Community Centre, Cedric Road, Doncaster, DN3 2HZ.

We operate the web application at prayeverystreet.com and app.prayeverystreet.com together with any related features, tools, or communications that reference these Terms.

Our mission is to help churches and individuals cover their streets in prayer — tracking, coordinating, and encouraging prayer walking across the UK and beyond.

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Section 1

Our Service

Pray Every Street is a free web-based platform that enables churches and individual Christians to record, track, and coordinate prayer walks across their local area. Features include interactive street mapping, GPS-tracked prayer walks, prayer note pins, church member management, and contribution to a global prayer map.

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by voluntary donations. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future; any such changes will be communicated in advance.

The Service is not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations (such as HIPAA or FISMA). It is intended for community and personal religious use only. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all laws applicable to you in your jurisdiction.

Section 2

Intellectual Property

Our Content

Life Church Doncaster owns or is licensed to use all intellectual property in the Service, including source code, design, graphics, text, logos, and the Pray Every Street name and marks ('Content'). The Content is protected by UK and international copyright, trade mark, and related laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended personal and non-commercial religious purpose. No Content may be copied, reproduced, published, or commercially exploited without our prior written consent.

Your Submissions and Contributions

When you send us feedback, suggestions, or other communications about the Service ('Submissions'), you assign to us all intellectual property rights in that Submission, and we may use it freely without obligation to you.

When you post prayer notes, street highlights, walk data, or other material to the Service ('Contributions'), you retain ownership. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use that content to operate the Service. You confirm that your Contributions are your own and do not infringe the rights of any third party.

We may remove or edit any Contributions at any time if we consider them harmful or in breach of these Terms. We may also suspend or terminate accounts where serious breaches occur.

Section 3

User Representations

By using the Service you represent and warrant that:

  • All registration information you provide is accurate and complete, and you will keep it up to date;
  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
  • You are at least 18 years of age, or are using the Service with parental/guardian consent;
  • You will not access the Service through automated or non-human means (bots, scripts, etc.);
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose;
  • Your use will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

If any information you provide is false or incomplete, we may suspend or terminate your account without notice.

Section 4

Account Registration

To access most features you will need to register for an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.

If you register a church map, you will receive an admin code to share with other church administrators. You are responsible for how that code is used. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account or church code has been compromised.

We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username or church name that is inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

Section 5

Donations and Payments

The Service is free to use. We accept voluntary donations to help cover operating costs. Donations are processed through a secure third-party payment provider (Stripe). By donating, you authorise us to process the payment in accordance with the amount and frequency you select.

We do not store payment card details — all payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their privacy and security standards. All transactions are in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.

Section 6

You agree not to use the Service for any purpose other than its intended function as a prayer mapping tool. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Service without our written permission;

We do not claim ownership of your Contributions. You retain full ownership and all associated intellectual property rights. You are solely responsible for the content of your Contributions and agree to hold us harmless from any claims arising from them.

We have the right, in our sole discretion, to edit, re-categorise, or remove any Contribution at any time and for any reason, without notice. We have no obligation to monitor Contributions but may do so in order to maintain the safety and integrity of the Service.

Section 9

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Supabase (database and authentication), Mapbox (mapping), OpenStreetMap contributors (road data), Overpass API (map queries), Nominatim (geocoding), and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of the Service involves interaction with these providers and you should be aware that their own terms and privacy policies apply.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service. Links or references to third-party services do not constitute our endorsement of them.

Section 10

Service Management

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: monitor the Service for violations of these Terms; take appropriate action against any user who violates the law or these Terms; remove or restrict access to any Contribution or account at our discretion; and otherwise manage the Service to protect its integrity and the wellbeing of its users.

Section 11

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy at prayeverystreet.com/privacy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service is hosted via Cloudflare Pages and Supabase infrastructure. Your data may be processed in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards are in place.

Section 12

Term and Termination

These Terms remain in force for as long as you use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, where we believe you have breached these Terms or where we consider it necessary to protect the Service or other users.

If your account is terminated, you may not re-register without our prior consent. We also reserve the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies where your conduct warrants it.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Section 13

Modifications and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We aim to provide reasonable advance notice of any significant changes, but we cannot guarantee the Service will always be available.

We are not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage caused by downtime, errors, or changes to the Service.

Section 14

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are located in the EEA and are accessing the Service as a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

Section 15

Dispute Resolution

We would always prefer to resolve any issue informally. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us at [email protected] and we will aim to respond within 14 days and work with you to find a fair resolution.

If informal resolution is not possible, any formal dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales as described in section 14 above.

Section 16

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in mapping data, GPS readings, or road geometry provided by third-party data sources.

Section 17

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFE CHURCH DONCASTER AND ITS OFFICERS, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE, OR FINANCIAL LOSS — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have donated to us in the twelve months prior to the claim arising.

Section 18

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Life Church Doncaster, its officers, volunteers, agents, and partners from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (1) your Contributions; (2) your use of the Service; (3) any breach of these Terms by you; (4) infringement of any third-party intellectual property or other rights by you; or (5) any harm caused by you to another user of the Service.

Section 19

User Data

We store certain data you provide or generate through using the Service — including account details, prayer walk records, and prayer notes — for the purpose of delivering the Service. Whilst we maintain routine backups, you are responsible for your own records.

We shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of your data. By using the Service you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Section 20

Electronic Communications

By creating an account and using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically — including by email and via notices posted within the Service. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice.

Section 21

Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Life Church Doncaster regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of that right.

If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.

There is no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship created between you and us by these Terms.
